Posted by: kreativefocus on: July 6, 2008

Just stumbling through FF the other day and came across this….

by using very clever positioning one side it reads come in and the other it reads go away.

not much else to say really about this i thought i would just share it with you.

waterwhat a night! i have never been in so much pain!  they decided to take off 3.5 litres of liquid, and i definitely felt it!  my whole body was cramping i had nearly hour n a half of pure pain!!!  i lost 4.7kg of water in a night and for me that’s a lot seeing as i now only weigh 60kg!! and add to all of it i can only drink 500mls of water and what ever i pass a day!

so if anyone wants to lose weight fast just make ur kidneys fail then you can go on dialysis!

sick note

kidneyAbout 4 months ago now i was diagnosed with kidney failure, and in that time I have gone from being very normal 20 year old to feeling like a 90 year old, spent around 20 days in hospital longest time being 11 days,  here are some of the things that have happened/changed:

  • had 2 kidney biopsy’s (http://www.patient.co.uk/showdoc/27000458/) – they found that 11 of the 20 cells they collected where scar tissue.
  • 5 pints of blood put in (2 hours for a pint)
  • taking 15 tablets a day to keep my blood clean, always having 4 tablets before food.
  • having injections every other day (EPO)
  • not being able to eat what i want when i want.
  • being off work alot and not having any energy.

I’m sure theres alot more but right now thats all i can think off.

from 2 weeks ago i have had a neck line put in, basically its my life line!  Its a tube inserted into a main vein in my neck with two tubes sticking out so i can be hooked to a dialysis machine (20 year old on dialysis great huh!) I’m sure there will be many posts about my dialysis experience, my next dialysis is tonight. 6-10pm

that should be enough for you to catch up about my condition!

“just think it could be worse”!
